Melbourne Royal Show - (September 22nd -2nd October 2022)
The Melbourne Royal Show is back and kids under 14 go free!It is an epic day of live shows, music, dirt bike displays, showbags and more. Gates open at 9:30am till 9pm. Adult tickets cost: $45. Visit the website below to book your tickets online. Just remember, free tickets for kids can only be booked in advance online (not at the gate).
Virgin Australia Footy Festival -Outside the MCG (Wednesday 21st - Saturday 24th September 2022)
Geelong and Sydney supporters or even just AFL fans, enjoy all the free and family-friendly entertainment at Yarra Park at the MCG.There will be giveaways, player signings, kids activities, NAB AFL Auskick clinics, inflatables, food trucks, licensed bar, live music and much more.
Tyama at Melbourne Museum - A Multisensory Experience of Nature (22nd July 2022 - 29th January 2023)
Tyama is an interactive museum experience like no other, giving you the chance to discover senses beyond human perception, alongside the animals that use them. Explore through six extraordinary digital environments, to bring untold stories to life.
Sessions are subject to limited capacities to enhance the visitor experience, and bookings are essential. Below is the Museum website for more details and pricing.
Spring School Holiday Program: Melbourne Museum - (20th September to 25th September 2022)
The Melbourne Museum has an array of triceratops programs and activities, where you can create your own 3D triceratops mask, use digital technologies to make an augmented reality triceratops, and meet baby triceratops up close. Plus, create your own Kooyang/eel mobile to celebrate the opening of the exhibition Naadohbii: to draw water. Tickets range from free to $15.

School Holiday Workshops - Queen Victoria Market - D Shed, 10am – 1pm
Get the kids involved with these free interactive and fun workshops. No bookings required.
Gardening 4 Kids Plant organic sunflower seeds in biodegradable pots. Decorate the pot, then take it home and watch sunflowers grow. There will also be the Root Veggie Dig activity to explore, where kids can get grubby and search for vegetables that grow underground (Tuesday 20th September and Friday 23th September 2022).
Cooking Workshop Join the foodie adventure with the Foost Colourful Chef. Kids will challenge their senses with an ingredient guessing game and make a tasty, colourful snack to enjoy. Join for edible bracelet making (Tuesday 27th September 2022) and fruit flower making (Thursday 29th September 2022).
